I wanted to give these a 5 star rating, how ever I had to give a 4 star just for the simple fact that I had so much trouble getting these things started. The first color I took out of the package was the purple. I followed all directions on the package and it was a no go. Still no color in the tip. I moved on the the red. Again followed all directions. Still unable to get ink out. I moved on the 3rd color, yellow. I followed all directions as I had previously and bam there was color. They're a ton of fun- I can write on my mirrors, let my kids play with them, do whatever. But after just a day of sitting in their package, horizontal, like it says, they're already seeming to dry out.
The markers took me nearly a 20 minutes to get them working and still not all are working.
After 2 days the markers will still wipe off easily. If not for the fact that it took me so long and some of the markers still aren't working I'd have given them a 5 star review. But 20 minutes is crazy- even my husband was complaining that it was taking too long to get them to a useable configuration.
Pros- Bright, vibrant colors when first opened and used.
Comes off walls (and desks) very easily
Fun. I can't stress that enough!
Cons- Set up time is too long. (20 minutes for them, my arms got tired)
After a short period of non use they required the investment to get them working in top shape again.
Overall- 4 stars. The packaging was flimsy, they took a while to prime up, but they are incredibly fun and easy to clean. Love them, just wish they were a bit more of a solid product.
