Hawkeye-II Quadcopter

The Hawkeye-II Quadcopter is so much fun!! I am a big kid and this has become my new favorite toy! This is the first drone that I’ve ever owned and let me just say that I can’t believe I haven't’ gotten one sooner.

First I want to say I wasn’t expecting the drone to be as big as it was which, in my case, was a very pleasant surprise. The measurements for this particular drone are 13.4 x 13.4 x 3.2 inches. Take off for this is easy with the one key take off and landing is just as easy. Unfortunately for me, I had to take turns with my daughters. Let me just say that this drone is definitely sturdy. It’s a good thing too, since my kids had a lot of crashes. Since the camera on this drone is 2MP and 720P HD, it takes nice clear pictures. The pictures are stored on your phone so you don’t have to go through a process of downloading them to your computer and then uploading them. My drone came charged out of the box but while you are constructing your drone you may want to charge the battery just in case. If you’ve never been a gamer you may have trouble at first learning how to control your drone but you will get the hang of it. The controller that is included does take 4 AA batteries which are not included. Once you get your drone up in the air it has a lot of power so take care the first couple of times you fly it. Flight time for the battery is around 10 minutes which is something I think needs worked on. For such a fun toy, you get very little play time with it before it has to be charged again which is why this is only getting a 4 star instead of a 5 star.

Motion Trend Men's Billfold Leather Wallet with Verified RFID Blocking Security

The Motion Trend Men’s Billfold is just what my husband needed. He previously had an RFID blocking wallet but it started falling apart from so much use.

This wallet is made of cowhide leather so it should last him for a long time. It is ultra slim so there isn’t much of a bulk when he puts it in his back pocket. I love the fact that he can carry around his cards in his wallet and know he has the RFID protection. He loves that it has multiple compartments for his credit cards and id’s. There is also two compartments for cash and receipts. Overall, this is a fantastic wallet.

100% Natural Arabica Coffee Scrub 8.8 fl. oz. with Organic Coffee, Coconut and Shea Butter

The Natural Arabic Coffee scrub smells absolutely amazing. I love the smell of coffee in the morning so this scrub was right up my alley. While this scrub is not as moist as I was expecting (I just added a little water), it still did a wonderful job of exfoliating my face. It scrubbed off the dry skin that plagues my face around my nose area. One of the only things that concerns me about this scrub is that the granules are larger than you would expect. With scrubs that I’ve used in the past the granules have been much smaller. This may be a hindrance to some that have acne issues and need something that will provide a deep scrub.

Probelle Nail Strengthener Formaldehyde Free

I love this nail polish. The Probelle Nail Strengthener is true to it’s name. I have been using this polish everyday for about a week now. The difference in my nails is amazing. They are noticeably stronger and they have a healthier look to them now.  I use this as a base coat for my colored nail polish. When using it dries in no time at all. I start on one hand and by the time I’m finished with the second hand, the first hand is already dry. When applying this as a base coat there is little to no odor compared to other base coats. If you wanted to use this on it’s own, it leaves your nails shiny and smooth. This is definitely a nail polish that I will continue using.

Best Pushup Bars with Comfort Grip

I recently started a new workout routine that includes push ups. Man was I dreading those. These push up bars came at just the right time for me. At the gym I workout at, the floor has this mat that has octagon shapes and when placing your hands on the mat they tend to dig into your palms. I take my push up bars with me to the gym so that I don’t have to touch the floor. These bars take the pressure off of my hands and shoulders while I’m doing my push up. Unlike other bars these have a cushion on the handle so that they don’t dig into your hand or feel like you’re rubbing the skin off the palm of your hands. The bars are made of a very thick and durable plastic. They are very lightweight and super easy to assemble. The angle of the handles makes it a more comfortable on your wrists when doing your push ups.

The only downside I’ve found with these bars is that you can’t use them on tile floor or a smooth surface. The bottom of the bars doesn’t have a good enough grip to hold onto a smooth surface.

Tea Tree Oil Body and Foot Scrub

I am a mom of three girls so I am always on my feet. Being on your feet all day makes for dry, cracked, and callused feet. So when I had a chance to test out the Tea Tree Oil Body and Foot Scrub by Pure Body Naturals I just had to jump on it.

When my foot scrub arrived, I immediately opened it. Upon first sight the container my scrub was in was sealed with foil, like the kind you find on the top of tylenol. I think this is amazing as it prevents bacteria, dust, and whatever else could possibly get in an unsealed container. I absolutely love the smell of this foot scrub. It has an almost menthol smell with a touch of aloe.

Now when I went to use it, I did notice it doesn’t have much liquid at all. This makes it difficult to use on it’s own. So in order to use it, I added a bit of additional tea tree oil that I had lying around. Adding the Tea Tree oil made using this much easier. I added some of the scrub to a pumice stone and scrubbed my feet. Once my feet were rinsed off, they were so much smoother. I could definitely tell a difference after just one use.

Animal Lover's Compact Auto Open/Close Umbrella

The Animal Lover’s Compact Auto Open/Close Umbrella is so adorable. This would be the perfect umbrella for any animal lover.

The umbrella features prints of dogs, cats, and paw prints. It also comes with it’s own cover for when not in use or after use in the rain. The umbrella features an automatic open/close button on the handle that really does work! To use all you have to do is press the button, and BAM, it’s open. This umbrella is compact enough that it would be very easy to carry in a purse or a backpack. True to the description, the paw prints on the umbrella do change colors when they get wet.

I absolutely love the size of this umbrella. It is large enough for both, my daughter and I, to fit under comfortably. This comes in very handy on the days that it’s raining and we have to wait for the school bus.

Professional Mandoline Slicer

The Professional Mandoline Slicer is just what I needed for my kitchen. I have recently started a new high protein low carb meal plan. With that comes a ton of veggies that I normally would touch. With my new mandoline slicer I can now slice and dice vegetables with the best of them.  Prior to this slicer, I would not go near an onion. I couldn’t stand the fumes or the sprays of onion that get in your eyes when you cut it with a knife. With my mandoline slicer, I don’t get the spray or the fumes that are so known with onions. I can slice tomatoes with ease and the tomato doesn’t squish together like it did when I tried using a knife. I also use my slicer to cut up lettuce for salads and hamburgers.

The Professional Mandoline Slicer comes with 3 slicing inserts, 2 julienne inserts, slicing guard with steel prongs, and a safe storage rack for the inserts. When using your slicer please use caution and know how close your fingers are at all times. I made the mistake of getting my finger way to close to the V and sliced the tip of my index finger off. The blades on this slicer are VERY sharp. The slicer is also dishwasher safe

I have absolutely no complaints about this slicer.

Creative Scents Broccostella Soap Dish

The Creative Scents Broccostella Soap Dish by Creative Scents is definitely different that other soap dishes that I’ve acquired. It is made of a solid ceramic and finished with a clear gloss. The center of the dish has silver flecks that look almost like that of a mosaic window pane. The dish has a curved shape to it so that the soap won’t easily slip off of it.

Before using this I would recommend rinsing it off first to rid of any residue or bits of ceramic that may still be on it from not being fully sealed.

My only complaint about this piece is that the silver flecks in the middle of the dish seam to be coming off of mine. I’m not sure if the dish I received was properly sealed. Every time I run my fingers across the middle of the dish I end up with silver specks on my fingers.

Hair Straightener, Anti Static Anti Scald Ceramic Heating Brush

The Ceramic Hair Straightening brush by Hometek is so much easier to use than your average hair straightener. Not only does it heat up much faster than any other straightener that I’ve had, it also does an amazing job of straightening hair. This device is also much safer than a regular hair straightener. The combs on the brush prevent the hottest part of the brush from touching your scalp or your fingers.

When using this brush, you will first want to make sure that you have brushed all of the tangles from your hair as it does tend to get caught if you haven’t. This is very simple and easy to use. There are 3 buttons on the handle that allow you to adjust the heat settings as well as power on/off your brush. The display on the handle is large enough to see easily and clearly. I displays the current temperature of the brush and allows you to see how much of the temperature you are adjusting when needed.

When you first turn on the brush it is automatically set to 190°C. This temperature is more for thin hair. If you have thick hair like me you will want to up the temperature to between 210-230°C. Once you get the temperature right for your hair type it shouldn’t take you long at all to straighten your hair. I have long thick hair and my entire head was straightened in about 10 minutes.

This unit is very solid and a bit on the heavy side. I’m assuming it’s because of the heating elements in the head of the brush. However, it’s not so heavy that it will be a pain to use.

Now for my negative. After probably 5-6 uses the display on my hair straightener has completely given out. It no longer lights up and tells me what temperature I have the straightener on. This may, however, be the result of one of my kids dropping it and not telling me but I’m not 100% sure on why it is no longer displaying anything.

Overall, I am very impressed with this hair straightener.
