QingHan has done it again. Like their other products, these headbands are awesome. These headbands come packaged in a reusable and resealable thick plastic bag. With this set you get 20 headbands in an assortment of colors. The satin that is on these headbands is soft and the colors are vibrant. All of the stitching is tight and doesn’t look like it will come loose anytime soon.

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter and they fit her head very well. These are flexible enough that they don’t squeeze her head or hurt her behind her ears like the ones we’ve been buying at our local stores.

Overall, these are very well made and are a steal for the price.

Premium Silicone Adult Swim Cap

Spring time has arrived and soon it will be summer. For my family, this means lots of trips to the swimming pool. I’ll be honest, I’ve never used a swimming cap before and never really planned on using one until I was given the opportunity to test this one out.

I want to start by saying that I haven’t had the chance to wear this yet so I can not attest to how well this keeps water from getting on your hair. So this review will be over things I do know about the cap.

This cap is made of a thicker stretchy material. This cap goes on very easily and holds all of my hair without any issues. When this is on I did notice that there is a loose seal around the edges of my hair. This is a concern for me since I would only wear this to keep my hair from getting wet. To me it seems that since there is a loose edge that it would let water in and would cause my hair to get pool water on it. This cap is shaped so that there is a part of it that covers your ears. I really liked this part of the cap as I can’t stand water getting in my ears.

This cap comes with an added bonus of a nose plug. This was a pleasant surprise. I always wear a nose plug while swimming because when water gets in my nose it burns and then I end up with a nose bleed. I was needing a new pair so these being included was perfect.

#1 Hair Brush Straightener

This hair brush straightener is so much easier than your average flat iron. Not only does it heat up faster than my flat iron, it also does an amazing job of straightening my hair. This brush is also much safer than a flat iron because the combs on the brush prevent the hottest part from touching your scalp or little fingers that like to grab items off the bathroom sink.

When using a brush like this, you will want to make sure all of the tangles are brushed out of your hair. If you don’t it will pull your hair and that hurts like the dickens.

This is very simple and easy to use. There are 3 buttons on the handle that allow you to adjust the heat settings as well as power on/off your brush. The display on the handle is large enough to see easily and clearly. It displays the current temperature of the brush and allows you to see how much of the temperature you are adjusting when needed.

The temperature range does come defaulted to Celsius. If you would rather the temperatures range in Fahrenheit, simply hold down the plus and minus signs at the same time for around 3 seconds and it will switch between the two.  Once you get the temperature right for your hair type it shouldn’t take you long at all to straighten your hair. I have long thick hair and my entire head was straightened in about 10 minutes.

Another great thing about this straightener is the heat up time. It literally took less than 90 seconds for mine to heat up. The cord on this is 360° swivel cord which means there are no tangled cords.

This brush is such a huge time saver when I’m getting ready. What used to take me about 30 minutes now only takes me 10 minutes. Not only does this take less time to use than my traditional straightening iron, it also makes my hair look healthier.

Tomameri Purple Portable MP3 Player

Let’s face it. We should all have an MP3 player of some sort in this day and age. Whether we use our smartphone, dumbphone, or one of the many micro players available, life just isn’t the same without music on the go. But have you looked for one on Amazon or one of the many other sites? You get hundreds of results.

So how do you know which one is right?

The Tomameri player was an interesting find. The current price of $18.99 for all the listed functionality is almost too good to be true. 16 GB micro SD card support, MP3 and MP4 capability (music and movies!), FM radio, picture viewing, voice recording, and it can even be used to read e-books.

Can it do all of these things? Yes. But… It can do some of them better than others.

As an MP3 player it is amazing. It supports MP3, wma, FLAC and possibly a few other formats, so your music WILL be playable. Heads up though, no iTunes support (since this is NOT an Apple product). I have tried to play a myriad of MP4 files, and have gotten only 1 to work. Now, AMV files work just fine, but MP4 seems to be hit and miss, with more misses than hits. The FM radio is functional, but it doesn’t seem to have much range. The voice recorder actually works pretty well, and you can listen to your recordings by navigating through and finding the WAV files that it saves. As for navigation, this player is lacking an intuitive navigation control. It can be hard to navigate at times, but not impossible.

So, for $19 you can’t go wrong. However, if this ever goes back to the original price of $59.99, I’d avoid it.

Running Socks

I received the Running Socks from BGR8.

These socks are perfect for working out in. These socks fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I work out 4-5 times a week and normally my feet are soaked and have blisters forming because of the socks I wear. With these, they seem to soak up moisture and disperse it evenly so that my feet stay drier. These also have enough cushion that my shoes don’t rub blisters on me while wearing these. These also have enough cushion on the bottom of your foot that you feel like you’re walking on a plush carpet (at least that’s how they feel to me). These provide excellent arch support as well. So if you have tennis shoes that don’t have much arch support these will definitely help. The cut of these is low enough that they barely show over the top of my tennis shoes. I love the keep pushing logo on the socks. This reminds me to push through the weight training pain and become a better me :)

For the longest time I went to the nail salon and had my nails professionally done. I spent I don’t know how much money on fake nails only to find out my natural nails were being destroyed. Since my nails are shorter, I haven’t had to use the filing attachment yet. I was more concerned with how well the buffing and shining attachments would work. I started out by buffing my nails (purple attachment). This attachment did a very good job of evening out the surface of my nails. I have uneven nails from so many years of acrylics. I finished up by shining my nails (white attachment). This is the one that impressed me the most. This attachment left my nails looking shiny and glossy, almost as if I’d put a clear polish on my nails.

My next plan for this filing system is my feet. I can’t wait to see how well this will do on my toenails.

15-Pack Dessert Spoons

I don’t know about you, but I love dessert. So naturally I need some silverware to eat my dessert with. When I was given the opportunity to test these out, I was all for it. Boy was I disappointed when I received these.

Naturally a dessert spoon is going to be smaller than a regular teaspoon but these are TINY. Not only do these have a smaller head area but the handles of them are also super short. As an adult, these are not comfortable in my hand in any way. These are, however, perfect for my 5 year old daughter’s hands.

While these are tiny, I can see them being useful for stirring coffee or tea. These are made of a very nice stainless steel and they are sturdy. The don’t bend and don’t feel cheap.

Overall, these are very well made but these are definitely NOT a dessert spoon unless you’re a 5 year old.

Foot Soak with Tea Tree Oil

I received the Foot Soak with Tea Tree Oil from Pure Body Naturals.

I have a 12 year old daughter that has the worst smelling feet. We have tried everything to help with the odor but nothing seemed to help until we found this foot soak.

When this product arrived it was sealed up nice and tightly so that none of the product spilled out during shipping. When I opened the lid, I noticed the smell of this first. I love the smell of tea tree oil and this foot soak smelled exactly like it should.

We used this as directed and added 2 tablespoons of the foot soak to about a gallon of warm water. We let her feet soak for around 20 minutes. Once my daughter’s feet were dry, we immediately noticed that the stench of her foot was almost completely gone. She still had a little bit of a stinky foot but then again what 12 year old doesn’t. Not only did her feet smell better, they were also softer and her calluses loosened up. So like any female would do, we went ahead and used a pumice stone to finish removing the calluses.

Overall, I find this product extremely effective and will definitely be purchasing this again when we run out!

Metal Bed Frame Twin Size

I have a 5 year old daughter that is outgrowing her toddler bed so I thought it was time to get her a new “big girl” bed. I was given the opportunity to test this frame so I figured no time was better than the present to transition her over to a bigger bed.

This frame came well packed. When opening the packaging the frame had no dents or scratches on it. This frame is very heavy and sturdy. You can definitely tell this is made of a high quality metal. The frame was very easy to put together and didn’t take very long either.

Something I love about this frame is that it doesn’t require a box spring. The frame actually supports the mattress without the need for a box spring.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this bed and would definitely purchase it again if the occasion arises.

This lense surprised me with the high quality of the lens. While I know absolutely nothing about angles, lighting, or lenses, I do know about quality products. If I can operate this thing, then anyone can.

This is very simple to use. The lens just clips to your phone and you can use either the macro lense or the wide angle lens. The lens is easy to position since you can look through and see if you are covering the hole. When using this to take pictures, they came out clear and sharp. I haven’t had any issues with focusing the lens.

The only complaint I have about this lens is I have to take my phones case off in order to use it. The combination of the clip and my case just don’t mix well. Once I take the case off of my phone it fits fine but I would rather use my case at all times since I’m clumsy and drop my phone a lot.

Overall, this is a decent lens for the price it’s currently offered at.

This diffuser also has lights that change colors. You can have them change the color continuously as well or set it to one specific color. On the inside of the base is where you will find your water lines. These are clearly marked and easy to see.

This diffuser will run up to 10 hours with continuous use before you have to refill the tank. This is awesome for those that like to have these running at night while they sleep.

Overall, I am very impressed with this diffuser and would definitely buy it again.

Insulated XL Neoprene Lunch Set

I was very surprised when I received this lunch set to see exactly how roomy this lunch set is. When you receive this set it comes packaged flat so you can’t really tell until you actually open and set it up. I can easily fit a couple of sandwiches, 2 cans of soda, some fruit, and my water bottle.

The lunch kit I received is a solid black with a honeycomb pattern on the inside. It is soft but then again it is made of neoprene so I would expect this. With this set you get the Lunch bag, 2 can koozies, and a bottle koozie. The can and bottle koozies work very well at keeping my drinks cold for longer periods of time. I always put my lunch in the refrigerator at work so having a zippered closure helps keep my food fresh as well. The zipper on the lunch bag is nice and thick so it helps keep everything nice and cold as well as fresh.

This set is very well made. All of the stitching is tight and there were no loose threads that I saw.

Overall, this bag is stylish and does a great job of keeping your items colder for longer.
