Ok first off....these markers are amazing!!! They do take quite a bit of time to prep for the first usage (more that expected on my end). Unfortunately the liquid chalk markers are not meant for chalkboards. They are only to be used on nonporous surface, such as windows or white boards. It's a shame because these are so much fun and I love how colorful they are. I liked them for writing on windows and mirrors, as they are very pigmented and vibrant.
