The Professional Mandoline Slicer is just what I needed for my kitchen. I have recently started a new high protein low carb meal plan. With that comes a ton of veggies that I normally would touch. With my new mandoline slicer I can now slice and dice vegetables with the best of them. Prior to this slicer, I would not go near an onion. I couldn’t stand the fumes or the sprays of onion that get in your eyes when you cut it with a knife. With my mandoline slicer, I don’t get the spray or the fumes that are so known with onions. I can slice tomatoes with ease and the tomato doesn’t squish together like it did when I tried using a knife. I also use my slicer to cut up lettuce for salads and hamburgers.
The Professional Mandoline Slicer comes with 3 slicing inserts, 2 julienne inserts, slicing guard with steel prongs, and a safe storage rack for the inserts. When using your slicer please use caution and know how close your fingers are at all times. I made the mistake of getting my finger way to close to the V and sliced the tip of my index finger off. The blades on this slicer are VERY sharp. The slicer is also dishwasher safe
I have absolutely no complaints about this slicer.
