Hawkeye-II Quadcopter

The Hawkeye-II Quadcopter is so much fun!! I am a big kid and this has become my new favorite toy! This is the first drone that I’ve ever owned and let me just say that I can’t believe I haven't’ gotten one sooner.

First I want to say I wasn’t expecting the drone to be as big as it was which, in my case, was a very pleasant surprise. The measurements for this particular drone are 13.4 x 13.4 x 3.2 inches. Take off for this is easy with the one key take off and landing is just as easy. Unfortunately for me, I had to take turns with my daughters. Let me just say that this drone is definitely sturdy. It’s a good thing too, since my kids had a lot of crashes. Since the camera on this drone is 2MP and 720P HD, it takes nice clear pictures. The pictures are stored on your phone so you don’t have to go through a process of downloading them to your computer and then uploading them. My drone came charged out of the box but while you are constructing your drone you may want to charge the battery just in case. If you’ve never been a gamer you may have trouble at first learning how to control your drone but you will get the hang of it. The controller that is included does take 4 AA batteries which are not included. Once you get your drone up in the air it has a lot of power so take care the first couple of times you fly it. Flight time for the battery is around 10 minutes which is something I think needs worked on. For such a fun toy, you get very little play time with it before it has to be charged again which is why this is only getting a 4 star instead of a 5 star.
